How Much Does a Family Lawyer Cost?

You deserve peace of mind when it comes to your legal issues, and your legal fees. Attorney Constance Locklear strives to keep all her clients as financially and emotionally intact as possible. For that reason, hourly billing and flat fees are available, depending on the case type.

Attorney Consultations

  • $120 for 30 minutes, or $240 for an hour

We offer paid consultations with our family law attorneys, where you can explain your case and we’ll answer all your questions.

Standard Pricing (Most Family Law Cases)

  • $450 per hour

Most family law firms bill by the hour. Certain cases are too large or unpredictable to fit a flat fee, and hourly billing is the best method for such cases. Our hourly rate is $450 / hr., billed by the tenth of the hour.

Prenuptial & Postnuptial Agreements

  • $2,800 (flat fee) for Drafting Pre/Postnuptial Agreements

The flat fee option is great because clients love it. It’s simple and predictable. You pay a fee, and the work gets done: no matter how long it takes to complete. Our flat fee for creating prenuptial agreements and post-nuptial agreements is $2,800.

  • $450 per hour for Reviewing Pre/Postnuptial Agreements

When reviewing a prenuptial or post-nuptial agreement that has been drafted by another party, we apply our standard rate of $450 / hr., billed by the tenth of the hour.

Mediation

  • $300 per hour

Mediation can be a great option for families who want to resolve their issues amicably and are willing to work together toward a solution. Cascade Legal Solutions offers mediation services at a rate of $300 / hr. for both in-person and remote (Zoom) mediations. Weekend mediations are also available. Please contact us for scheduling.
